Summer Blowout by Claire Cook

I enjoy books by Claire Cook. And I had the pleasure of meeting her last summer at ALA. She’s super nice in person. So I was looking forward to a little light reading with Summer Blowout and this hit the spot.

Bella Shaughnessy is a makeup artist and recently divorced. But when she meets cute entrepreneur Sean Ryan will she keep her vow to stay away from men? And what about her new business ideas?

Just a fun beach read. The ending was a tad too quick for me – I wanted to know more about Bella’s business idea and if she succeeded.
